Summer Picnic

This summer has been extra special for the family. Now that the kiddos are older, we can enjoy the late summer sunsets with a family bike ride around the neighborhood and partake in more outdoor activities. My absolute favorite thing about summer are the longer days and late sunsets. Even before bedtime, we can fit in a quick summer picnic for some good quality time. Since we really don't have a backyard, we go in search of our perfect "picnic spot" around the neighborhood. The kiddos can play outdoors and snack on some healthy popsicles. It really ends up being more like dessert.

And I love all of the new memories and traditions we're creating!

My quick picnic essentials: a blanket of course, a straw hat, bug spray, a good magazine, and any fruit that's in season.
